According to reports, Hamas launched at least eight rockets from the Rafah area of Gaza towards Tel Aviv on Sunday, May 26. This marked the first direct attack into Israeli territory since January. The rockets were intercepted by Israeli air defense systems, resulting in no casualties; however, a house in the Tel Aviv suburb of Herzliya was damaged by falling debris. The incident occurred at approximately 1400 hours local time, triggering warning sirens in areas including Herzliya and Petah Tikva.
